The Sarasota BluesFest is the largest festival in the area. More than 8,000 fans attend the event each year. Past performers include Gregg Allman, Buddy Guy, Delbert McClinton, Solomon Burke, John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers, Jeff Healey, Coco Montoya, Fabulous Thunderbirds, Jimmie Vaughn, Sonny Landreth, Shemekia Copeland, Bobby "Blue" Bland, Dr. John, The Radiators, Junior Wells, Bobby Rush and more.
