Jake Haldenwang is a 15-year-old contemporary rock blues guitarist, vocalist and song writer sensation. He delivers amazing searing guitar solos, dynamic rhythms and soulful vocals with an intensity that belies his youth. His performances combine a variety of powerful influences with a soulful feeling that has rarely been witnessed in someone so young. Jake began playing guitar at age 11, was performing live by the time he was 12 and by the age of 13, he was a seasoned stage performer, Leading his own band of veteran muiscians. “Jake Haldenwang is now, “Bringing the Blues to a New Audience in a Big Way”, as he delivers a brand of “scorchin’ rock blues” with a fresh style and an undeniable stage presence that is uniquely all his own, making him must see artist.
He has wowed audiences with his show stopping electrifying performances, while touring and playing over 75 club dates and festivals, through-out the South East. In 2008, at age 13, he was selected as the guitarist to represent the Carolina’s at the 25th, 2009 International Blues Challenge in Memphis TN. He has also written 13 original songs, including one co-written with, Gary Vincent, Producer and President of Morgan Freeman’s, “Ground Zero Blues Club Music”.
Additionally, Jake has had the privilege of performing with some of music industry’s top recording and touring artists, to include; legendary blues man “Buddy Guy”, Walter Trout, The Marshall Tucker Band, The Tommy Castro Band, Robin & Tony Rogers, Dave Fields, Blind Mississippi Morris, BB Kings All Stars, Bob Margolin’s All Star Band, Contagious Blues Band, Rusty Barkley and Mac Arnold (former bass player for Muddy Waters) and he has opened for Webb Wilder and producer/singer/song writer, Tom Hambridge in Nashville TN.
