Bobby Rush was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame and was awarded the West Coast Blues Hall of Fame’s “Songwriter of the Year” and “Best Blues Song Award”. In 2008 Bobby was chosen the Acoustic Blues - Artist of the Year, Soul Blues - Male Artist of the Year and Acoustic Blues Album of the Year at the BLUES MUSIC AWARDS .
